Pine has been used for many years which means that it is now recycled or reclaimed to make new furniture pieces which often feature far more character and style than when the wood was originally used. Featuring a large degree of rough edges and natural blemishes which make it more interesting and unique than heavily sanded and polished wood. Pine dining tables often feature extension leaves which enable you to extend the length of the table to provide you with a larger dining surface allowing you to place more chairs and eating spaces at the table.
Unfinished pine is often stained a dark color whilst finished pine tables are available from a range of reliable and experienced suppliers which are stained in light shades of a white and yellow colour tone. Pine is often preferred by people who prefer a relaxed and informal appearance to their furniture. Almost all pine features a deep and dark knotted texture which can be painted a bright white to add light and colour to the room.
